“Colbie Inez”, born Colleen Gardner, is a talented cinematographer and photographer originally from Charlotte, NC, and currently based in Atlanta, GA. Her journey in the world of visual arts began in elementary school when she became her school's news anchor at the age of 9. Even at a young age, Colbie showcased her diverse skill set by taking on roles as a writer, videographer, and anchor.

As she grew older, Colbie pursued her passion for journalism by attending college and eventually becoming an entertainment news reporter. During this time, she used her platform to shed light on underrepresented artists in her local community in North Carolina. Colbie's camera became a powerful tool for her as she conducted interviews and filmed music videos, showcasing her multifaceted talent and creativity.

Driven by her love for all things "dope" and "artistic," Colbie founded her own film company called Dope Artistic Focus in 2016. Through this brand, she produces original content including narratives, music videos, and commercials. One of her notable achievements was the inclusion of her film "Under" in the 2018 Bronze Film Festival. This film beautifully captures Colbie's artistic vision, focusing on themes of black women, women empowerment, and the celebration of beauty beyond circumstances.

Since then, Colbie's work has been recognized and featured in prestigious publications such as Oz Magazine and Vibe Magazine. Her art has also been showcased at the Museum of Contemporary Art Georgia and the Auburn Avenue Research Library. In 2021, she had the opportunity to work behind-the-scenes for MGM Production's "TILL" and collaborate with brands like Target and Pepsi.

Colbie Inez's dedication and passion for film have led her to collaborate with others in the film community and independently, fostering creativity in the visual arts. She continues to make a significant impact in the industry and is a rising talent to watch out for.
